Museums for All

As a benefit of your EBT card, you can visit during daytime hours as often as you’d like for only $1 per person. Simply show your benefits card at admissions to receive the discount for up to six family members. Offer not valid for select events.

Open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday for Daily Admission

DSBG is closed for the following holidays, New Year’s Eve, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Frequently asked questions

Wheel chairs and strollers are not available for rent, although the Garden is stroller/handicap accessible. Benches are located throughout the Garden.

Only trained service animals that perform life functions for individuals with disabilities are permitted in the Garden.

The Garden is open rain or shine. Refunds or rain checks on admission ticket purchases are not granted for weather related reasons. In the event of extreme weather including snow or a bad storm the Garden may close. Please call 704-825-4490 prior to your visit.

Picnics and coolers are welcome anywhere on the property, but please no alcoholic carry-ins or grills. We also have beverages, wine, and snacks in The Garden Store. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the terrace or at picnic tables.
