The Garden offers a wide variety of Horticulture classes — all year long — as part of our Continuing Education series. Topics may include growing plants at home, tropical plant care, creating a vegetable garden, lawn care and more.
Join us for First Tuesday presentations, held on the first Tuesday of each month at noon. Bring a bag lunch to enjoy while learning about a variety of topics. Presentations are free for members or free with general Garden admission for non-members and are held in the Visitor Pavilion. No registration is required.
Tuesday, Dec. 4; 12 – 1 p.m.
Join Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s team for a behind-the-scenes look at Holidays at the Garden. Guests will learn more about exciting updates to the 2018 display, how the display comes together and get some ideas for their own holiday décor for the holiday season.
Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for a stroll through the gardens, Meadowood Walk and Persimmon Trail to scout for seasonal birds – observe nesting patterns and establish basis for bird counts. Bring binoculars if you have a pair.
Walk led by Garden volunteers.
