Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden provides a wonderful living laboratory for meaningful, real-world explorations for your home-schooled students (grades K-5). Themed programming on the last Wednesday of every other month will include a variety of learning stations offering hands-on, guided discovery experiences with our knowledgeable instructional staff. Make a day of it by bringing a picnic and enjoy having lunch on one of our lawns or picnic locations.

Enjoy hands-on learning about the lifecycle of a pumpkin along with fun facts about bats, birds and fall migration. Students will also explore questions such as “why do fall leaves change color?” and “why do evergreen trees stay green?” Each family will receive a free gift and can enter to win a family pack of tickets to Holidays at the Garden!
