The Garden’s cherished annual holiday event is coming up! Holidays at the Garden offers a magical experience for guests from November 26 through January 2. Advance tickets for Holidays at the Garden are being sold online.
Sing along to your wintertime favorites at our popular topiary display, take in the rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and stroll among the twinkling cherry trees. Grab a bite from the food trucks, roast a marshmallow beside a roaring fire, sip a warm or cold beverage and soak up the season’s cheer.
Our member preview will take place on Tuesday, November 30 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm! All members are invited to experience Holidays at the Garden for free during the member preview. We simply ask that you reserve tickets in advance.
The Garden is going above and beyond to keep you safe again this season.
**The following safety protocols are subject to change according to updated CDC guidelines and local mandates**
- Guests are required to follow health guidelines on social distancing, maintaining at least six feet of personal space at all times.
- Tickets will be limited each evening.
- Entry times will be staggered to reduce crowding.
- Tickets will be sold online and in advance only. No tickets will be sold on site.
- Masks are required indoors for all guests over age 2, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are strongly recommended outdoors when social distancing (6 ft.) is not possible.
- Garden staff and volunteers will be wearing masks at all times.
- Hand sanitation stations are readily available.
Group Tours will not be offered this year due to proximity and congregating guidelines.
The food truck schedule will be posted once the trucks have been confirmed!

Where is the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden located?

Do you recommend purchasing tickets in advance online or at the door?
We strongly recommend that visitors purchase tickets online in advance to expedite entry and save on admission. Presale tickets will also support our efforts related to social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines. Fridays, Saturdays and the week before Christmas are typically the busiest evenings. Tickets are non-refundable and the event is held rain or shine.
What should I expect?
Tickets for each of the three time slots will admit participants for 90 minutes to enjoy all the event has to offer. The Holidays at the Garden outdoor walking trail is brick or gravel.
What if it rains or if there is bad weather?
The Garden is open rain or shine, but in the event of severe weather including dangerous storms or ice, the Garden may close. Please visit the website prior to your visit. Rain checks will be issued if the Garden closes for the safety of our guests.

Is the Garden still open during the day?
Yes, the Garden is open for general admission Thursday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please click here to view regular daytime hours and admission. If you plan to visit during the day and also during the evening, you will need to to purchase both daytime admission passes and also Holidays at the Garden tickets.
Can I bring my camera?
General photography with handheld cameras is encouraged, but please review our Photography Policy before your visit. Share your photos on social media with #DSBGHolidays!
Can I bring food and/or beverages?
The Garden does not have a restaurant onsite. Picnics and coolers are welcome anywhere on the property, but please no alcoholic carry-ins. Please leave grills at home.
Is the Garden handicap and stroller accessible?
The Holidays at the Garden outdoor walking trail is brick or gravel with limited mobility. Alternative wheelchair/stroller-accessible routes are available (not available for rent).
Are pets allowed?
Only trained service animals that perform life functions for individuals with disabilities are permitted in the Garden.
