This very special presentation will feature Seattle-based master glassblower, Jason Gamrath. The sculptor who trained at Dale Chihuly’s Pilchuck Glass School in Washington will share his start-up story and inspiration for his largerthan-life glass botanicals. From carnivorous Venus flytraps to orchids and pitcher plants, each piece is meticulously designed for color, detail and interpretation. Jason’s exhibit, Grandiflora: Gamrath Glass at the Garden, opens May 24 at the Garden.
Bring your lunch to the Garden’s Visitor Pavilion and enjoy a presentation on the first Tuesday of each month (except July). Presentations are free for members or with general admission.
