Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day with educational activities that encourage families to follow a path to a more sustainable and earth-friendly lifestyle. Learn about ozone gardening, plants that are bio-indicators of ozone injury, and air quality programs in our area. Make a wildflower seed bomb to yield a green explosion in open ground, creating pockets of beauty and habitats for pollinators. Enjoy a hike on the Carolina Thread Trail, relax with live music, a beverage, and lawn games, or just explore and admire the beauty of the spring gardens.
Saturday & Sunday, April 18 & 19; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
