Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the previous blood drives. They were a huge success, exceeding the Red Cross’ goal for units of blood donated each time.
Blood drives have always been an important way to help the community, but they are especially important now during the pandemic. According to the Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds. Blood donations help people undergoing surgery, burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, cancer patients and many more.
The Red Cross is undertaking stringent precautions to protect donors from COVID-19.
