One of the great strengths of DSBG is
our vital corps of volunteers who provide assistance
in virtually every area of the Garden. Volunteers assist
the horticulture staff, serve as tour guides for the
Education Department, help out in the The Garden Store, help with mailings and other clerical tasks,
and provide assistance with plant sales, special events
and projects. Some volunteers already have an interest
in gardening and wish to gain more knowledge while
giving of their time and talents. Others have come
to know the Garden as a place for serenity, inspiration,
and education, and want to assure its future by donating
their energy and expertise.
