Gaston County Master Gardener Don Osborne will lead the class and will discuss how to design and compile successful container gardens from the aesthetic standpoint of form, color and seasonality. His tips will result in beautiful containers that will help guests plants thrive throughout the season. Containers can be used to add height, depth and impact that will accentuate a garden, and can even be used to bring the outdoors in by clustering them outside a homes doors and windows.
Osborne is an avid gardener and readily shares his expertise with others through the Gaston County Master Gardener program and through the Gardens volunteer program. He is a noted orchid expert and serves as an orchid judge for the American Orchid Society, but is also respected for his knowledge in many other areas of gardening.
