HOLIDAY LIGHTS AT THE GARDEN EVENT SCHEDULE
November 27 - December 3


Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden becomes a holiday destination for the fifth year with its annual Holiday Lights at the Garden display. More than 600,000 lights will illuminate the Garden entrance, roadway, Visitor Pavilion and main gardens. These spectacular evenings will include old fashioned model train displays, carriage rides, holiday carols, and a guest favorite, the spectacular 16-foot-tall Orchid Tree featuring more than 300 orchids. Hot chocolate, holiday music and shopping at The Garden Store completes the holiday experience at the Garden.

The Holiday Lights display is open 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Admission is $10 adults, $9 seniors 60+, $5 children 4-12. Members are Free every Tuesday night and half-price Wednesday through Monday.

Special events planned for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3 include:

Friday, Nov. 27
6-9 p.m. – All of your Holiday favorites played by a brass quintet from Winthrop Brass.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Christmas Carolers will be strolling through the Garden.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.

Saturday, Nov. 28
6, 7 and 8 p.m. – Enjoy a Holiday sneak preview of the Singing Christmas Tree from Carolina Voices.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Christmas Carolers will be strolling through the Garden.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.

7:30-8:30 p.m. – Carols sung by Charlotte Chorale will be sure to fill your Holiday with joy.

Sunday, Nov. 29
6-8:30 p.m. – Smooth jazz sounds of Holiday favorites performed by Gary Marcus Piano and Bass.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances from Santa Claus.

Monday, Nov. 30
6-8:30 p.m. – Smooth jazz sounds of Holiday favorites performed by Gary Marcus Piano and Bass.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.

Tuesday, Dec. 1
6-8:30 p.m. – The instrumental quartet, The Charlotte Waites, will be performing Holiday songs dressed in Renaissance attire.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.

Wednesday, Dec. 2
6-8:30 p.m. – Smooth jazz sounds of Holiday favorites performed by Gary Marcus Piano and Bass.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.

Thursday, Dec. 3
6-8:30 p.m. – Listen to traditional Holiday songs played on a hammered dulcimer by John Mason.

6:30-8:30 p.m. – Appearances by Santa Claus.
