What does it take to be a hobbyist beekeeper? What equipment do you need and how do you get started? Sally Adams, a state certified journeyman beekeeper in South Carolina and owner of Mama Beehive Honey Farm, will teach you how to get started in beekeeping – a hobby enjoyed by millions worldwide! Learn how to inspect the hive, what diseases and parasites to look out for, how to make your own honey and more. Whether you’re interested in it as a hobby or a profession, beekeeping is a fun and rewarding experience that leaves a “sweet bonus” for you each year!
