Worldwide Knit in Public Day

Whether you knit, crochet, spin, weave, or raise fiber animals, fiber lovers are called to gather and share creative energy at the fourth annual celebration of Worldwide Knit in Public Day.
Opportunities are available for children and beginners of all ages to learn basic steps, and crafters of all skill levels can enjoy meeting with fellow fiber enthusiasts. See and feel the latest in yarns and needles available for purchase from local yarn shopsand stroll around the Garden to see fiber sources such as sheep and alpaca, in action.
Attendees may even get to participate in a yarn bombing or granny graffiti environmental art project.
Free with Garden Admission; Half Price for those who bring a pair of knitting needles.
