T'ai Chi is a form of meditative exercise which orginated in China, characterized by slow, captivating movements. It is gentle on the joints, muscles and bones, yet gradually increases strength and improves balance. Deep breathing promotes relaxation, which in turn lowers stress levels. Learning T'ai Chi is similar to learning a dance, in addition to physical exercise, the brain also gets a workout!
