Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s Education Department offers a wide and wonderful selection of continuing education classes, summer camps, school programs, and group tours, both guided and self-guided. People of all ages bloom at DSBG!
DSBG’s educational programs are tailored to meet the needs of specific audience. Some programs are designed for group registration while others are open only to individuals enrolling themselves, their children or their families.

How to register:
All continuing education, summer camp, and school group programs conducted by the Education Department require pre-registration and a pre-paid program fee.
Register securely online for Continuing Education programs, School Groups, Garden Adventure Camps or Group Tours.
To make your reservation and credit card payment by phone, call the Reservations Coordinator at (704) 829-1252, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday or 9 a.m. - Noon Saturday.
What about refunds?
In the event that the Education Department cannot enroll an individual or group in the program requested, the pre-paid program fee will be returned. If the individual or group cancels the reservation, partial or full refunds may be made at the sole discretion of the Education Department. Meet the staff…
Cynthia D. Klemmer, Ph.D., Director of Education, leads the Garden’s staff of professional educators which includes Duane Clerc, Education Specialist and Jackie Settlemyre, Youth Programs Coordinator. The education staff is also assisted by a group of volunteer interpreters who conduct tours and aid with educational classes.
